Who decides if a design contribution to the catalog is accepted?

This decision is currently made by a board of stewards. The board consists of designers that have successfully contributed a model to the catalog. They will peer review your addition with the goal to help you getting it into the catalog. 

Decisions and suggestions will be made based on the design brief and the Ikego part design suggestions.

Why stewards? A system like Ikego can’t be designed as a fixed set of rules on paper. It needs creativity in the decisions. So let it be designed by people that have a stake in it. Once you have contributed a design to the catalog you will be part of the group that has a say in the direction of the whole system, if you wish.
