- How it works: This component allows you to connect various things thanks to its design:
- On one side, it features a 4mm hole that widens inside the component into a channel shaped like an M4 hex nut. If you insert an M4 nut into this channel and push it all the way down, you can attach the component from the other side to a board, for example, using an M4 screw.
- However, you can also insert an M4 screw from the inside so that the thread passes through the hole from the inside and points outward. This way, the component can be screwed on as well.
- Instead of an M4 screw, you can also insert a wood screw from the inside. The M4 hex nut channel provides enough space for a wood screw of the appropriate size. You can then screw this component into wood or into a wall plug, for example.
- On the other side, there is space on the side for an M6 hex nut, which can be slid into place. You can then firmly screw an M6 thread into the component from the other side. This hex nut can also be pushed back out using a thin needle through the small hole on the side.
- The component thus serves as an M6-M4 connector as well as providing the option to attach M6 screw-in threads to a wall.
- It has a diameter and height of 30mm, making it perfectly suited to be connected with Elephant rods or 30mm diameter “Nodes”.
