“The Marii” takes the famous open design chair by Enzo Mari († 2020) and upgrades it to an open circular design chair made from multipurpose parts. It is an addition by the designer Audrey Burnard.

Design info
On parts & builds
- As you can see from the pictures, Enzo Mari’s original design has been given two further upgrades in addition to the modular construction: The backrest can now be adjusted from relatively upright for concentrated work to relatively horizontal for relaxed sitting, and the body of the chair now has a storage function.
- Together with the Marii, other designs were submitted that show how the chair’s modular components can be used in other ways. Parallel entries were → Bork, → Badli, → The Marii Planter, → The Marii Box & → Plant Podest.
